We chose this box to reproduce for it's tight stitching at" 8 stitches per in. per original " but obvious confederate production features, including construction techniques and small lead finial . Designed for sling carry only. It was cut (probably in the field) to be carried on a belt but is not part of our reproduction nor is a plate which was applied at some point in time.
