Hankey Farm Confederate Cartridge Box

Features- 58 cal., Double tins, oil cloth implement pouch, acorn shaped lead finial, The original resides in the Gettysburg National park Collections. This box was recovered from the area of a confederate field hospital located on the Jacob Hankey farm which was located along the Mumasburg Rd. It is near the site of the first days action. The original had a 2" leather sling still in place.
